The blade is constructed from 1095/15N20 high carbon steels that have been folded over and over approximately 280-350 times to create this gorgeous Damascus pattern with a Rockwell Hardness Rating between 58-60. The clip point style of the blade makes it great for skinning game as the up-turned tip gives a precise cutting edge. The blade is full tang, as you can see in between 2 black micarta mounts held on by 2 sturdy steel pins. This knife provides excellent protection while also looking awesome.
