Without a doubt, our favourite softshell drop-leg holster so far - once fitted on (see gallery item #2), the pistol (RETAY MOD 92 in this case) goes in smoothly w/out additional encouragement needed. The backstrap is exactly the correct length out of the bag, to retain the pistol firm and snug in position. Once retained, you can walk, dash, hop, leap, vault or tumble - the gun will stay in place (NB also that this is an all-metal pistol weighing in 1.16 kg).

The two / double thigh straps are elastic and retain by way of strong Velcro. When they do wear through in a couple years' time, then they can be easily replaced with new ones. What we do like here as well, is that the bottom strap goes around the OUTSIDE / OFFSIDE of the holster, which adds retention to that part / prohibits movement / shifting or bobbing of the lower half of the holster.

The holster body is the same 600D BALLISTIC FIBRE used in all EL PASO's synthetic holsters, which is super-rigid and durable.

The backstraps are 1” wide and quite beefy; the outside strap features the male stud, which couples to the female stud on the hard upright tab on the inner side of the holster. This of course, is a thumb-break system, meaning you can make your firearm ready for draw, by disengaging the straps with your right-hand thumb.

The runner strap (the one that binds the whole aforementioned to your combat belt, features a very crisp-functioning, flush-looking YKK buckle. It doesn't make for an eyesore and has some catchy post-modern curves.
This whole strap is adjustable via a triple bar runner clip which, given the beef of the webbing strap, won't readily give slip when tugged. It has a bit of length to permit some freedom of adjustability over your entire upper leg length (for men of average height)

The holster is really lovely, and we cannot recommend it enough - has a neat, rounded finish, durable, and has a lot of tactical utility. The only downside we can think of here, is that it will only fit LARGE FRAME pistols w/out underbarrel optics fitted. That and the inherent shortfall of softshell holsters that you don't have an auto-lock feature, as is the case with hardshell holsters.
