Lightweight, stylish, and incredibly sharp — it's all about the Ruike P188-E knife. It is designed to be used for EDC purposes but will also work as an auxiliary tool in the field if a thin blade is required for certain tasks.

The model has a folding design with a brushed blade made of D2 tool steel with a hardness of 59-61 HRC. This is not quite the usual brand for Ruike brand tools, which allows you to balance between the quality of the design and its cost.

Steel sharpens quickly, effectively resists chipping and deformation under high loads, and has good corrosion resistance, provided that you follow a simple rule for caring for the blade: wipe it dry after each use.

The blade of the Ruike P188-E knife has an unusual sword tip profile with a thin TRUE blade along the entire length of the butt, which makes the tool look like a miniature sword. When sharpening a blade of this type, the main emphasis is placed on the tip to preserve the penetrating abilities, which are the main advantage of the form. A blade with a narrowed point demonstrates an even cut and performs well in prick work, so such blades are often used not only in EDC tasks, but also in tactical operations.

The design opens instantly thanks to ball bearings in the axial assembly - for this you need to press the flipper fin. The knife is fixed with a double lock: Liner lock + Thumb Up blocker.

The handle has smooth curves, which improves the grip and prevents the appearance of a feeling of fatigue in the wrist when holding the knife for a long time. The dies on the handle are made of rough G10 fiberglass. The material is not afraid of sudden changes in temperature, direct mechanical stress and contact with both water and aggressive compounds.
